My Journey begins in approximately 13 hours.
After meticulously going through my suitcases I have consolidated four into three. My bags are packed, my documents copied, my reservations made, and my reading material for the plane ride planned. Can you say 12 hour crash course in Kansai-ben (dialect spoken in Kyoto) and Keigo (polite language)?
Anyway, I'm hoping my excitement doesn't keep me from sleeping through the night. I shall post pictures as soon as there is something worth photographing.
